Hazy Fudge was born from a heartwarming blend of family, music, and Finger Lakes flavors. It all started on our small farm, Hazy Hollow Acres, named for the misty mornings that inspire us daily.
When my son's band, Whiskey Shivers, toured after appearing in "Pitch Perfect 3," the kindness of hosts across the US and Europe touched my heart. To thank them, I created a unique gift: alcohol-infused fudge made with local milk, wine, and bourbon.
The overwhelming love for this treat sparked a new dream. Despite my business experience, the food industry was new territory. With support from the Dairy Runway program sponsored by Cornell’s Center for Regional Economic Advancement including access to the Cornell Pilot Plant and their expert team, I was able to validate the business viability and successfully scale up my recipe. To further develop my understanding of regulatory requirements, food safety, and production aspects, I enrolled in the Cornell Food Spark program. the Food Spark program at Cornell’s Center for Regional Economic Advancement. These programs were instrumental in shaping my vision and preparing me for the challenges ahead.
Today, Hazy Fudge proudly uses over 55% locally sourced ingredients, creating luxurious treats that celebrate the Finger Lakes region. As an official Taste NY product, we're sharing our sweet fusion of local dairy and spirits with the world.
